The Ice Factor in Kinlochleven, is home to the largest indoor climbing centre in the world. Located close to Glencoe and Fort William in the west of Scotland, the ice factor gives you the opportunity to experience all types of climbing in safety. Types of climbing include, an ice climbing area complete with an ice cave, a rock climbing area with an articulated wall and a bouldering section, outside the centre there is also a high-level rope course for all the family. Other facilities include a sauna, steam room, cafeteria, bar, shop and gear hire.
The Ice Factor caters for all experiences from hard core ice climbers to beginners, stag parties and hen parties are also catered for, and supervision and instructors can also be booked for those looking to expand or learn new skills.

There is plenty of parking available at the Ice Centre for both cars and coaches, and the local town of Kinlochleven provides plenty of amenities and accommodation if you are thinking of staying in the area. The centre is open 7 days a week and 364 days a year (closed on Christmas day). It is advised to book prior to arriving to avoid any disappointment, especially during the summer months and weekends when it can get very busy.
