Glenmorangie Distillery is located on the beautiful shores of the Dornoch Firth, this is where you will find a true highland welcome from the Men of Tain, the highly skilled distillery craftsmen that produce the unique taste of Glenmorangie.
The distillery is just bursting with history and culture and this is all featured in the excellent tours the distillery offers, the tours come in three types the original tour that is available for only £5, or 2 tours that are available by appointment only, the signet tour and the heritage tour, these two tours offer a much detailed tour, and a tasting session that you will never forget, a truly unforgettable experience.
During the tour you will see Scotland’s tallest stills, with long copper necks that rise over 5 meters, this ensures that the whisky is a much smoother taste, only the finest oak casks are used at Glenmorangie, and are only ever used twice to ensure the maximum amount of flavour is enjoyed by all.
Inverness is only 34 miles away from the distillery, and only half a mile north from Tain on the A9.
